The staff at Holiday Inn Ipswich Orwell were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and had comfy beds that ensured a restful night. Breakfast offered a great selection, and the chef was genuinely keen to accommodate our preferences.

this hotel was really nice for a quick stay. the staff were super friendly, and the bar food was actually really tasty. breakfast was great too, plenty of options and everything was fresh. the room was clean with a comfy shower, and parking was easy and felt safe. lovely vibe all around!

only downside was that the hotel looks a bit tired in some areas, needs a little sprucing up. also, some items in the menu were unavailable when we arrived, which was frustrating.

Target audience families looking for a nice stay

The staff were super friendly, especially the girls at reception, just like my chemistry students but way more helpful haha. Plus the breakfast had a solid spread, good food for a busy day ahead, I even threw some extra beans on my plate, just like I tossed ideas around in the lab.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but acceptable for what you get.

I had a lovely stay with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfast had a nice variety and everything was fresh, making it a great way to start my day. One downside was some slow service during dinner a few times, which could be improved.

the room was super clean n tidy, very spacious with a nice lil sofa for chillin. staff were real friendly n helpful, always with a smile. brekky was way better than i expected with a good variety. location was cool too, just off the a14 and close to ipswich center. we liked it so much that we're comin back real soon!

but the dinner service was really slow, felt like we were waitin ages for food. also, the pillows were kinda lumpy, coulda asked for new ones tho.

We had a cozy stay for 4 nights! The breakfast was always hot and tasty, way better than at other spots I've been. The staff were super helpful too. Just wish the check-in wasn't such a hassle. waited way too long for our rooms after a long drive. Oh, and we could've used more plug sockets near the beds!

The staff was friendly and the check-in was smooth. Don't miss the tasty food options, just be aware that breakfast might come with an extra charge. a fun spot with lots to do nearby!

On the downside, the rooms could use a bit of refreshing as they feel a tad outdated. The bathroom was decent, but I experienced some inconsistent water temperature in the shower.

The location is fantastic, being right off the A14 and near multiple dining options. I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff, particularly one who went above and beyond to return my misplaced items.

We had a fantastic stay with friends! We explored a magnificent 12th Century fortress and enjoyed the warm area showing premier football games. The rooms were clean, and the staff really made our experience enjoyable. Just keep in mind that while the building could use some upgrades, it didn't overshadow our fun. Highly recommend for a casual getaway.

We did notice some areas showing signs of wear and tear, like peeling paint and old window frames, which could use some attention.

We had a fantastic time during our four-night stay, especially enjoying the fabulous breakfast with its hot and varied options, as well as the spacious, comfortable double room. The chef really made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch.
